Eligibility to Enroll:
Anyone interested in entering the field of sports nutrition (no prior experience required).

What You Will Learn:
After completing this course, the student will learn:

  1. Anatomy and functions of the digestive system
  2. Types of macronutrients and micronutrients
  3. Nutrition strategies for specific energy systems
  4. Nutrition plans for specific sports
  5. Athlete’s response to dietary changes
  6. Dietary supplements
  7. Water and hydration
  8. Some diet plans
  9. Diseases
  10. Nutrition guidance and counseling

Course Duration:
The course includes 56 study hours, which must be completed within a maximum period of 3 months from the date of enrollment. The course is delivered online, including theoretical materials, the course textbook, training videos, and audio lectures via the Academy platform. Students also complete quizzes and the final theoretical exam on the Swedish Academy of Sport Training platform.

Exams and Passing Criteria:
All theoretical exams at SAST are conducted online through the platform, using random questions from a question bank based on the course curriculum, with immediate grading and results displayed after completing the exam, according to a predefined pass/fail system for each course.

Quizzes:
Students must pass a series of mandatory quizzes before proceeding to the final exam, as follows:

  1. A mandatory quiz for each chapter of the theoretical material.
  2. Each quiz contains no more than 10 multiple-choice questions.
  3. Exam duration is based on the number of questions (one minute per question).
  4. The passing score for each quiz is 80%.
  5. Quizzes can be retaken an unlimited number of times by each student.

The final theoretical exam cannot be taken unless all quizzes have been successfully completed.

Final Theoretical Exam:

  1. The student is allowed to take the final exam after successfully passing all mandatory quizzes.
  2. The student must achieve a minimum score of 60% to pass the final exam.
  3. The final exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, each with four options.
  4. The duration of the exam is 50 minutes from the start time.
  5. Each student is allowed a maximum of two attempts to pass.
  6. Students who fail both attempts may request an additional attempt for USD 50 per attempt.

Graduation Certificate:
After completing the course and successfully passing all exams, the student will receive a certificate of completion sent directly to their email and stored in their personal profile on the Academy platform. The certificate is officially accredited and certified by:

  1. Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST)
  2. Global Council of Sport Science (GCSS)
  3. International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE)
  4. Register of Exercise Professionals Tunisia (REPS Tunisia) – for Tunisian students
  5. The International Confederation of Registers of Exercise Professionals (ICREPs) – for Tunisian students
  6. Ministère de la Formation professionnelle et de l’Emploi (MFPE) – for Tunisian students
