Terms and Conditions

The following terms and requirements regulate the relationship between participants in the courses of the Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST) and its administration. Please read these terms and the Privacy Policy carefully before registering in the Academy or using its website www.swedish-academy.se or any part of its platform content.

These terms and the Privacy Policy constitute a binding agreement between the participant and the Academy. Using the platform is considered a legal acceptance of these agreements, whether the user is registered or not.

The Academy reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice, and such changes shall become effective immediately upon being published on the website.

About the Academy

The Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST) is an educational sports institution founded in Sweden in 2015. It brings together international experts, academic professors, and professional trainers across various sports fields. The Academy aims to promote sports knowledge in academic, training, and professional areas while supporting sports institutions in improving scientific and physical standards.

Article 1: Administrative Commitments

The participant must read, understand, and accept all pricing information before using the platform or registering in any course.

Participants must be at least 18 years old to register. If under 18, parental or legal guardian consent and supervision are required. Registration for participants under 16 years old is not permitted.

All educational materials provided with the courses are for personal use only and related exclusively to those courses.

The Academy does not bear responsibility for travel arrangements, entry visas, or health insurance.

The participant is solely responsible for any accidents (medical or otherwise) occurring during the course. The Academy holds no liability for such incidents.

The participant must notify the Academy of any changes in contact details (address, phone, email) to ensure effective communication.

The Academy is not responsible for internet interruptions or low connection speeds during live lectures or online exams.

Article 2: Registration and Financial Terms

All course fees must be paid before the registration deadline.

If the participant cannot attend the course before it begins, they may nominate another eligible person as a replacement (provided the substitute is qualified).

Registration fees paid during the enrollment process are non-refundable and non-negotiable.

If a participant withdraws from the course for any reason, no refund will be granted.

In the event of price changes, course date changes, or other necessary modifications, participants have the right to either continue or withdraw without financial penalties.

Students on installment payment plans must pay on time. A late fee of $5 per day will apply for up to 30 days. After that period, the student will be dismissed from the Academy with no further rights.

Students who fail the final theoretical exam may request an additional exam attempt for a fee of $50 per attempt, within the allowed course period.

Students who fail the final practical exam may retake all or part of the exam, as determined by the supervisor, within the course duration. If outside this period, they may request an additional attempt for $50 per attempt, within 30 days from the course end date.

Students must comply with course timelines and complete all requirements within the announced schedule. If not, an additional fee of $50 will apply for course extension (up to 30 days only).

Article 3: Discipline and Respect

Participants must adhere to course schedules and timing.

Participants must comply with the dress code, keeping attire neat and clean.

Participants must comply with the laws of the country hosting the course (for in-class sessions). They are solely responsible for any legal violations.

Students must maintain respectful behavior toward others, avoid offensive conduct, and uphold a professional environment. Failure to comply may result in immediate dismissal without prior notice or compensation.

The Academy is not liable for any personal disputes between participants.

Any participant absent for more than 25% of total lecture hours (in-class or online) will be considered withdrawn and will not be allowed to sit for the final exam or receive certification.

Article 4: General Provisions

The Academy is not responsible for the employment of its graduates or their acceptance by other institutions.

Students are prohibited from altering, reselling, or distributing any Academy materials without prior written consent.

By using Academy services, you agree not to misuse the platform to harm, disable, overload, or interfere with Academy servers or third-party use.

Unauthorized access to the website, accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Academy is strictly prohibited.

Attempting to obtain materials or information not intentionally made available by the Academy is strictly prohibited.

Article 5: Prohibited Content

The following materials are strictly forbidden in the Academy, whether in physical attendance, on its platform, website, or official social media channels:

Content that defames, harasses, or threatens others.

Content promoting illegal activities.

Content infringing on third-party intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks, etc.).

Obscene, pornographic, immoral, or unauthorized content.

Advertisements or commercial promotions of any kind.

Content related to partisan political activities.

Viruses, malware, worms, trojans, spyware, or any harmful software.

Intentionally false or misleading information.

Attempts to collect or mass-download content (such as user lists, e-books, or personal data). Impersonation or identity misrepresentation is also prohibited.

Unauthorized use of credit cards, debit cards, or any payment methods without full authorization from the owner (including fake or stolen payment details).

Any violation of the above terms entitles the Academy to immediately terminate your access to its website and/or your participation in courses—without prior notice and without any financial compensation.
