The course includes 20 study hours, to be completed within a maximum period of one month from the date of registration.
Eligibility
The course is open to anyone interested in learning the basics of first aid, with no prior experience required, including trainers, students, or individuals seeking to gain emergency response skills confidently and efficiently.
Course Topics
Upon completing this course, the student will be able to understand and apply a wide range of essential first aid concepts and practices, including:
- Objectives, principles, and fundamentals of first aid.
- Qualities, duties, and responsibilities of a first responder.
- Prioritizing aid for multiple casualties.
- Handling conscious and unconscious victims.
- Contents of a first aid kit.
- Vital signs: temperature, blood pressure, breathing, pulse.
- Initial assessment and contacting emergency services.
- Managing choking, fractures, burns, wounds, bleeding, and drowning.
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Head, spine, chest, abdominal, and eye injuries.
- Treating shock, fainting, convulsions, and epilepsy.
- Handling poisoning, diarrhea, heat or cold exposure, and bites.
- Triage and intervention priorities.

Examinations and Passing Requirements
Sectional Quizzes:
- Mandatory quiz for each theoretical chapter.
- Maximum of 10 multiple-choice questions.
- One minute per question.
- Passing score: 80%.
- Unlimited retakes allowed.
- The final exam cannot be taken until all quizzes are successfully completed.
Final Exam:
- Available after passing all sectional quizzes.
- Consists of 50 multiple-choice questions.
- Duration: 50 minutes.
- Passing score: 60%.
- Unlimited retakes until successful completion.
Certificate of Completion
Upon completing the course and passing all exams, students will receive a certificate of completion sent directly to their email and stored in their profile on the academy’s platform, officially accredited and certified by:
