Unwanted Hair Loss
There are many factors that can result in hair loss, but the most common condition is male pattern baldness (MPB). Male pattern baldness is a genetic condition that is inherited, which causes the hair follilces being shrinked, damaged and stop producing hair due to some of the male hormones. The success of treatment and remediation strategies are often dependent on a person's general health, age at which hair loss started, rate of loss, and how soon treatment is started. As hair loss becomes greater, the chances of treating the condition get lesser.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses injections of a concentration of a patient’s own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles, and joints. Particularly for the skin, as platelets are fortified by vitamins, and when they are injected into the skin, they can stimulate skin repair, can tighten, thicken, plump the skin, improve skin tone and texture, reduce signs of aging and treat pigmentation, scars, and stretch-marks. They contain growth factors that can trigger cell-reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area. PRP can also be enhanced with ingredients such as vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants to maximize the beneficial effects.
